About Course

Reading texts grow to 6–8 sentences. Students write structured paragraphs of 4–6 sentences. Grammar expands to past simple, comparative adjectives, and ‘there is/are’. ~300 new words. Students begin dictionary and context-clue skills.

What Will You Learn?

  • Read and summarise a short 8-sentence text
  • Write a 5-sentence paragraph with topic and supporting sentences
  • Use past simple for regular verbs ('I walked, I played')
  • Compare two things using -er / more
  • Use 'there is / there are' to describe places
